Light Waves: Visible Light

Human beings are inherently driven by the need for connection — whether it's to others, to moments from our past, or to emotions that define us. The mission is to seek out and connect with your adjoining Light Waves neighbors to form a neighborhood (AKA "Hood").

A neighborhood consists of 3 or more adjoining Light Waves within the same wallet. For example, Light Waves #165, Light Waves #166, and Light Waves #167 together form a neighborhood.

Once achieved, all adjoining Light Waves receive an automatic, shared visual update reflecting the connection. If the connection is ever severed — fewer than 3 adjoining pieces held in the same wallet — the remaining Light Waves return to their original, unconnected state.

Holding a neighborhood makes you a Hood Holder — the formal name for this tier among collectors. In the mythology, the term means something else entirely: Guardians of the Light names Hood Holders as the Rh null travelers, carrying humanity's last hope across the stars. Two meanings, one name, previously living on two pages that never spoke to each other.

What sets "Light Waves: Visible Light" apart is the active participation of holders in the reveal process. Rather than passively receiving the artwork, they play a key role in determining its final form. The outcome of your piece is not pre-determined — time and your engagement are the only variables that shape it.

The act of inscribing and revealing your ordinal is entirely in your hands. This approach empowers holders to actively reveal their unique artwork at the moment they are ready, emphasizing the importance of timing and decision-making so each holder discovers their piece in a way that is entirely their own.
